Key Job Purpose

· Lead aggressive share gain of Mobile Financial Services in a very competitive market

· Manage and grow Mobile Financial Services through brand- driven and category driven innovation, activation and brilliant implementation of the platform

· Achieve brand share and profitable profit growth targets through translation of brand and marketing plans into market-implementation and customer plans.

· Champion the consumer needs and brand passion within the overall business.

· Champion competitive behavior and mindset throughout the business and translate it into targeted marketing activities to grow brand share.

· Deliver market- and –customer –knowledge driven input into innovation platform projects and brand planning to ensure requirements of ready meals and red meat categories will be met in future.

· Lead marketing implementation and develop world class activation.


Principal Job Responsibilities

1. Develop of a share growth oriented marketing plan that seizes opportunities in innovation, renovation and market activation implementation.

2. Represent Consumer (insights), brand strategy and products/service quality requirements as part of a cross functional team.

3. Develop and lead implementation of market activation platforms and ideas based on the brand vision working with agencies for the brand.

4. Translate marketing plan into a business framework and optimize commercial opportunities (identify threats). Feed into monthly and annual planning processes.

5. Develop and implement 12 to 18 month roadmap including product range and quality brand build and value delivery for consumers.

6. Pro-actively feed market, category and customer requirements into platform innovation projects.

7. Champion optimal launch of innovation platform.

8. Work with communication team to ensure single minded communication message is created in line with the brand building communication plan, consistent with the category needs.

9. Monitor and review effectiveness of innovation and renovation programme to inform future plans. Ensure continued focus on and support of innovation platforms once launched.

10. Management of marketing budgets within agreed targets and align with customer advertising activities.


Qualifications and experience

· Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree Marketing or equivalent

· 3-4 years classic brand management experience in a FMCG, Banking or Telecommunications Industry


· Computer literacy

· Business management and brand development experience

· Good communication skills

· Ability to handle multiple activities

· Customer/ Consumer focus

· Ability to work under pressure

· Performance and result oriented

· Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
