  Pre-Registration Pharmacist Bachelor of Pharmacy Honours Degree or Equivalent from a reputable UniversityDegree class: 2.1 or betterResearch on drug compounds and develop new medications based on research.Appreciate and fully understand the entire Pharmaceutical production process of a drug.Test medications for efficiency and safety.Use different Pharmaceuticals technology and equipment under the strict operating guidelines.Conduct clinical drug trials and evaluate results of these trials to gauge a drug’s effectiveness and to determine potential risks or side effects.Collaborate with other pharmaceutical companies, PCZ, MCAZ and a variety of other health care professionals to ensure trials are conducted safely and within regulatory guidelines for drug testing.Should be willing to undergo very extensive training.Willingness to conduct intensive research on new drugs and compile a comprehensive report.The incumbent shall be attached to a manufacturing facility for a period of not less than one year to meet the requirements of the Pharmacist Council of Zimbabwe in order to register as a Pharmacist. • The programme enables the trainee to gain appropriate training and experience in the provision of community pharmacy pharmaceutical services to become a fully qualified independent working Pharmacist. •To use knowledge gained from the BPHARM Degree and apply this to pharmacy practice within the framework of legal rules, guidelines and SOPs.
